April Showers
On a rainy day, it would be great to curl up on the couch, pop some popcorn and watch a movie wouldn’t it? Unfortunately those days do not happen much so might as well make the best of it with a cute outfit!
Had lunch with my sweet Photographer/FR website manager at Bazille in Nordstrom The Woodlands, and we ended up having an impromptu photo shoot!
It’s fun to wear the rain boots once in a while especially on a chilly day, but it is nice to change it up with my Christian Dior blue patent leather pointed-toe flats with rubber soles and heels. I wish I had grabbed another pair of these in the perfect bright yellow, because sadly they are no longer available. But Puma has a similar shoe in the same blue called the Bixley Glamm. Also in black and pink for only $50.00! The pink ones may be in my near future!
I decided to pair the shoes with an all neutral outfit: white cropped jeans, off white shirt, and khaki trench coat. Mother denim from Cakewalk Style Shop and a Banana Republic trench coat. I love a trench coat. The pockets, the cinched waist, and buttons give it this refined look and it’s a classic. I have a slight obsession and would love one in every fabric and every color. It’s so easy to throw on over a dress, jeans, or even a shorts. For the hot Houston summer I recently purchased one in a flowy, soft material and I can not wait to feature it here on Fashion Rowe!
