Trench Style with Shilla

A trench coat is undoubtedly the classic wardrobe piece.  Luckily this trend can be carried on into the warmer seasons with the lightweight fabrics available to designers.  Thrown over a summer dress, shorts, or simply tied and used as a dress itself.  Long or short, a trench instantly adds an elevated look to any outfit, and can be amped-up with red lips and the right pair of shoes.

For this styled look, I threw my Shilla trench coat one a high-waisted jean short and bodysuit.  It’s casual, yet sophisticated and if I’m feeling a little self conscious about my arms or legs this solves that problem! 

I also love a trench dress.  Cinch the belt and this investment piece instantly goes from day to night!  Be adventurous and look beyond the typical camel color, and try a trench in a spring/summer color!
