Sleek and Sleevless

I love this time of year! Stores are starting to carry pre-fall and fall items, designers are advertising what will be the new trend, and of course seeing the top fashionistas in the world with their gorgeous picks and finds.

One favorite trend of mine for a couple of seasons now is the sleeveless duster. It is perfect for the hot and humid Houston weather. Finally Houstonians can wear “jackets" all season! Plus it adds a touch of “chic” to any outfit. I invested in my first piece last fall (I shared it on Instagram here ) and I’m so happy that this trend is carrying over into 2016!

For this outfit I went for an all black look, which I like to do from time to time. I layered a cute black tank top with the duster and paired it with leather pants. I chose to pair it with heels, but this outfit would also look great with a pair of sneakers for a more casual look!

This Chanel bag is the most versatile bag that I own. You remember my love for crossbody bags. Crossbody’s are so easy to take with you for a fun night out, as well as running errands.

This edgy ring from Stephen Webster gives the whole look a bit of rocker edge!
