Nordstrom Hosts Fashion Rowe
I had so much fun this past Saturday at Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale Event!! Nordstrom was so gracious to host Fashion Rowe and my “Rowe-Squad” girls to shopping, champagne and lunch! The red carpet was rolled out from the beginning with personal service and attention from their top stylist, Caitlyn.
Caitlyn and I walked the women’s department and pulled several pieces for my girlfriends to try on and model in the dressing room. They were great sports and wore them all! Of course, a little bubbly was a nice addition. Who doesn’t enjoy shopping & champagne?
As you see in the pictures, my girlfriends and I are a little crazy! I always laugh so hard my cheeks hurt by the end of the day when with them #lovemygirls. DeAnn and I love our blonde friend, Amy. Who happens to be 5’9”, with a gorgeous figure. So when you have a friend who looks like a model, you have the right to poke fun every once and a while. So here we are trying to come to her aid and “assist" in zipping her up in this beautiful Herve Leger dress (it zipped up so easy but whatever, it made me feel better to at least pretend).
Several designer pieces were brought in from their Galleria location for us to browse, and it made me even more excited for FALL! Two favorites of mine were the camel suede Chloe “Faye” bag and the grey Fendi “Petite 2 Jours”.
I am sending a subtle signal to my hubby in this pic - haha.

Check out this beautiful caged shoe from Christian Louboutin, it is even more gorgeous in person! Perfect with jeans, a jumpsuit or skirt!
We are all familiar with Spanx for underneath our clothes (well except maybe Amy, who does not need it), but have you tried their faux leather leggings? Oh my gosh, so comfortable and yet stylish! We each walked away with one. You need to too!
I have the best readers! If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably seen my zit post. A Fashion Rowe follower & fellow blogger came to the store to bring me her favorite remedy for breakouts and bug bites. I will definitely be armed and ready for the next time my annoying sidekick decides to come along. Thank you @modishlynaturopathic!
For lunch we headed to Bazille, if you have not grabbed a bite to eat in Nordstrom’s sophisticated yet casual restaurant, be sure to make time at your next visit! From salads to entrees, they offer a variety of meals and a great kid’s menu! Their full size bar is a perfect spot for husbands to relax and catch a game while we get to business in the different departments.
Who doesn’t love a fashion show? So many fun fall trends were featured, from block heels to beautiful jackets and coats. I can’t stop thinking about that yellow sweater…may need to go back for that. Nordstrom did a wonderful job showcasing all clothes on real women of all sizes. I appreciated that, and so did the rest of their audience! So happy to see leather is still in the scene as well as pops of color.
