Fabulous Fall Skin Care

Fall is upon us and I am getting my regimen ready to keep my combination skin prepared for the upcoming cooler weather! Here are my fall musts!

1. Biore/Free Your Pores Charcoal Pore Minimizer is great at keeping my pores clear and shrinking them just a bit. I’ll be honest the pores are not going away (someone please invent a product) and all my research has shown nothing can erase them. However we can at least shrink, minimize and diminish a bit. On the label it says to use 2-3 times a week. I use Mon/Wed/Fri in the mornings. Perfect way to prep my skin for makeup application. Available at most drugstores!

2. I love, love, love Vitamin C products because of the brightening effects. I had the opportunity to try a sample of Nerium International’s “Illumaboost”. What is wonderful about this product is that you can add this serum to your current moisturizer! When you are ready to use for the first time, press the pump to open the chamber which combines the two ingredients to activate the key ingredients. Shake then add 1-2 pumps to your current day or night cream, or even your foundation. Viola! You have guarded your skin against the environmental stressors, increased brightening and boosted a more even skin tone. Want to learn more? 3. Next…face oil. Yes. I said oil. I honestly probably would have never given Bobbi Brown’s Face Oil a try because the thought of putting oil on my face scares me! But a dear friend swore by it, so I had to give it a try. Made with sesame, olive, almond, jojoba oils and Vitamin E it gives your skin this moisturized glow. About twice a week I will use in the evening before bed. I love how my skin looks in the morning! You can also gently pat over your foundation to give an extra glow.
