The Essential Blazer

Blazers are always the perfect piece to grab when you want to pull a look together. Going for the sophisticated or street-to-chic look is easy to achieve and I own several for these reasons! A favorite look of mine is throwing a blazer over a t-shirt. On women or men it has become a classic, repeated year after year. This black blazer from Elizabeth & James has been with me for years now and I paired it with a fun gray t-shirt, ripped jeans and slides.

I stumbled upon the One Teaspoon denim brand a couple years back on a trip to California. The airline lost my luggage and so I had to purchase a few outfits to get me through the rest of the trip. Best thing about that fiasco is  I found these shredded jeans at a cute boutique shop and have been a One Teaspoon fan ever since.

And lets talk about this “First Lady” t-shirt which was designed for $25! I spotted my girlfriend/fashion blogger Ashley Lewis of Modishly Naturopathic wearing this adorable t-shirt and had to snag one for myself. Pick your color(s) and create your own!

These gorgeous velvet slides are from Forever 21! Slides have a huge following in the fashion industry. And thank goodness because they are so comfortable! I love the over the top, big bow. Girly and so fun :)
