Aloha Summer
Its officially summer here in Texas and as I pack for my Hawaiian getaway, I'm excited to share with you my Summer must haves from Fashion Rowe!
ALOHA SUMMER!
1. Remington Pink Silk Oval Waving Wand
I like to call my oval wand, my "beach waver." I was alittle skeptical when I first used it because it seems like it would create weird dents and creases instead of waves, but I was pleasantly surprised. The 'beach waver" truly creates the perfect tousled, beachy hair look. To prevent a harsh crease, be careful to not leave on your hair too long; a few seconds at 400 degrees will do. Spray hair with light hairspray, separate with your fingers, tousle your hair and off you go!
2. Ray Ban sunglasses
The all new Ray Ban Clubmaster Aluminum shades are currently my new faves. The retro Clubmaster style gets a fashion forward update with the lightweight aluminum frames and gradient mirror lenses.
3. Bodysuit
Summer bodysuits are huge this season and many style icons are rocking them! I love how easily they transition from day to evening and their versatility with different bottoms. Pair a bodysuit with boyfriend jeans and heels or flip flops for a casual look. They also can be worn with shorts during the day, and a skirt in the evening. The possibilities are endless. Bodysuits are theperfect travel piece for light packing!
4. Pashmina Stole
My first pashmina stole with french chantilly lace will be my new favorite traveling piece! My neighbor and friend designs this gorgeous line. Stoles by Sonia are 90% pashmina/10% wool, are available in a variety of colors, and can be customized. Perfect to throw in your carryon or traveling tote, and perfect to use on those windy days by the beach. Contact me for more info.
5. Paul Sperry Sayel Clew Sneaker
I accidentally discovered these shoes at the Sperry store while shopping for my sons. The bright yellow shoe caught my attention, and when I put them on I was sold on how comfortable they felt on my feet. Washed oxford cloth make the sneaker feel worn in, memory foam on the inside is heaven on your feet, and the rubber soles give you the traction you need for your vacation adventures!
6. Denim
You will always find denim in my suitcase, especially for a beach trip! Denim shorts are great as cover ups and as day wear with a t-shirt, and for this trip I am packing my denim pencil skirt to pair with a bodysuit - denim for days!!
