Valentine's Getaway - Rosewood Mayakoba

I fell in love with yet another place in Mexico…Rosewood Mayakoba.  The beautiful beaches, impeccable service, fantastic food, drinks, I could go on and on.  This resort was nestled in what felt like a jungle with a lagoon throughout the property.   And as I rode my bike to get from place to place I found myself pedaling slow to soak in the beauty around me!  My husband and I stayed in a suite above the water where you had the option of taking a boat to get to your suite, and that was where I met my first set of friends:  an alligator with 2 turtles sitting on top of him.  That was our first clue no swimming in the water.  I so much enjoyed our Chef’s dinner with 7 other couples!  We dined under an old tree strung with lights while a live band played next to our table.  Not only did the staff at Rosewood impress me with their attention to the little details, but also the unexpected surprises.  A Valentine “love potion”, complimentary treats poolside, and a gift on our bed each night are just a few to name.  And if you have kiddos - it is so family friendly!  I will be back Rosewood Mayakoba!
